Can they spell L A W S U I T???? They should have criminal charges brought against them for murder because they knowingly sold that product and people got sick and died. What is wrong with people??? I hope that was worth the money they saved back then.

You know, they knew there were problems and they did nothing about it. They just kept "testing" until a sample came out clean. AND DID NOTHING. That's the real crime. A conscientious company would have stopped production and cleaned the machines before testing again, not just "shop around" for a company who will give them the result that they want.

My store makes peanuts in the store directly from peanuts which are usually as locally grown as possible.

Unsurprising--plenty of people have died from tainted food since Dubya gutted the FDA. Hopefully fixing this is high on Obama's to-do list.

I hope they get hit with a nice fat class action suit at the very least. 8 deaths is unthinkable, and over 500 people sick!
