Cat Fight!

I don't know what happened this morning, but after I fed my two cats ( Biscuit & Spiral ) I went in the living room and fired up my computer to go on line. All of a sudden I heard all of this hissing and yeowling coming from the kitchen! I go into the kitchen and find both cats under a low utility shelf having at each other!

Biscuit fled like his tail was on fire and Spiral remained hidden under the shelf. I spent about two munites trying to get him from under that shelf! When he did come out, he crept out like a whipped puppy!

Now, Spiral is nearly twice the size of Biscuit and always beats him up. But, today it was his turn to beaten. I've had them both for the past 16 years and I've never seen them fight like this. I wonder, is it old age that's got them fighting like this? Two grouchy old men, I guess.
