Though the ice storm we experienced here in Arkansas brought tremendous damage and hardship, it also presented an amazing opportunity for photographs. Here is a preview.
That is an amazing photo. I wanted to get out when we had our ice but just couldn't bring myself. The scene I loved around here was the iced wire chicken coop

Roy - we lost half the tree which means we will probably lose the entire thing as there are also branches broken at the top of the part that is still standing.

Lovely. If we could walk safely on ice and if we didn't have to go anywhere and if we didn't have to worry about no electricity, that is, if the ice storm didn't set us worrying, perhaps we would and could appreciate the beauty of an ice storm more.
These are incredible! My big husband flipped into the air while walking the dog, was knocked unconscious and woke up to our dog licking his face. He is ok, but bruised his hip badly so my feelings about this ice are grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! These pics are fascinating, though!
