Christmas- finally put away!

I finally packed up the last box of Christmas stuff just now. It's only been a few small things here and there that hadn't been taken care of, but they've all been mocking me. I finally got up the gumption today to get it all taken down and packed up.

Last week, I picked up a few small things at Walmart for 75 &  90% off (they were in the process of marking things down, but I thought it was all 75% off). That's all packed up now, too. I just have to find the lids for the tubs, and have Nick take them upstairs when he gets home.

I even took the Christmas cards down. Yay!

Congrats! I know I have been doing a lot of 'deep cleaning' at my place. Reorganizing and all that good stuff! I have most of my basement reorganized! =)

Want to come over and do our house? The garbage man just took the tree today and the one sofa is covered in ornaments, garland and lights that the girls just dumped there. The coffee table has a bigger pile of random icicles, window clings, wall decorations, garland from the banister and stockings. And I haven't even touched the garland or wreaths hanging on the doorways, mantle or rooms, plus the nativity and village in front of the fireplace.

So, when are you coming over?

Nah, this isn't too late for me. We usually don't take the tree down until about this time anyway. I just jumped the gun on the tree this year and put it away early.
Sophie, I'm leaving right now, but if I'm not there by dinner, don't hold the food for me ;)

I still have all of the outside lights and wreaths up. They look really pretty at night with all the snow.

I put mine up a while back. But now, its stored in our back room and its a LOT of stuff. I'm trying to sell it. But how do you sell Christmas stuff in February and January?? :(

Don't tell anybody but I still have a tree up in my den. Now this is the last one and obviously I just keep forgetting about it. My husband said he didn't even know it was there, it is a really tall skinny tree and it is not lit up so it just sort of fades into the background. There are no ornaments on it, so I feel good about that. But there is a tree skirt and dare I say a couple gifts under it!!! Maybe I will get to it this weekend (and maybe not!)

Great job. It seemed like a rushed year this year for us. As we use a real tree, the needles were getting bad so I took it down the day after Christmas. All the house decorations went too.

Aww my neighbor took her tree down the day of our fire so we could sleep in her living room...I noticed yesterday that she still has her little village and various wot-knots around..I stripped my apartment quick...wanted it back to normal, then I nearly burned it down....trying once again for that normal look
