SAN DIEGO -- A mistrial was declared Monday when a home-invasion robbery suspect smeared human feces on his attorney's face then threw more at the jury.

Weusi McGowan, 37, was upset because San Diego Superior Court Judge Jeffrey Fraser refused to remove Deputy Alternate Public Defender Jeffrey Martin from the case, prosecutor Christopher Lawson said.

Eww ... ok I started to read it and started dry heaving at the thought. How gross ... what is wrong with people? YUCK .. I wouldn't even want to touch my own ... and to have some flung at me. The jerk who did it would have to be greatful the court room had officers in it because he would need the protection because I would beat the living daylights out of him.

I bet they have him in some sort of protective area!!!!

My husband is a prison guard in a men's maximum security prison. Here is NY state it is now a felony for an inmate to fling feces or urine. Some of them are HIV positive and do it on purpose to infect staff. They have been known to hold it in their mouths and then spray it. A few of our friends have been spit on like that and they (and their families) have to go through the agony of the waiting game while having blood tests every few months.
