It's snowing like crap up here, and my husband has been clearing nice paths for me to get from the sidewalk to the bus stop. Our sidewalks are plowed, but unfortunately the plow leaves two big drifts on the side, big enough that I can not climb over them to get to the bus stop on the side of the road. Walker has been going up there and shoveling 4 foot paths in the drifts (I have a hard time putting one foot infront of the other to walk) and making sure that there are no big road drifts where the busses stop. that's wonderful, because I've nearly gotten sucked into those stupid drifts trying to get off the busses, in past years.
This isn't even "our" building, we rent an apt from two nice people here in town. They do their share of snow-clearing too, but they don't live in this building, so they can't be here all the time.
WOOHOO, everyone. Let's hear it for Walker and his amazing snow shovel.

What a great guy
Mark
We are only getting rain here.
The city has the roads and sidewalks cleared by 7:30, but yesterday it kept snowing all day.
Guelph is very good and concientious about snow removal. When I lived in Wilkes-Barre, their attitude was "God put it there, it's his problem."
and does this mean that the Czech cabbies won't carry you to the door anymore?
