URGENT! PLEASE PRAY!

My son just texted me from school to turn on the news... that there's been a gang fight at his school. However, the news is not on yet and googling turned up nothing thus far. I have THREE kids in that school. Will update later when I know more.

Just saw it on the news... they said there were no injuries but over a dozen students were arrested. It occurred in the lunchroom, and my youngest son (who texted me) informed me that my middle son was at lunch during the melee. I've texted him  (the middle son) and received no response yet.

Oh my, in my thoughts. You know, when we had our first child I moved away from where I was to here, much for that reason. I didn't want my kids going to the same schools I did with all the gangs and cliques etc., plus hopefully better educations. When the opportunity arose, I jumped at it, and have never looked back.

I homeschooled for many years but they wanted to attend the public schools so I've let them... figuring if I hold them back from what they want now they'll react by diving in headfirst later in life. So far all my kids have turned out to be well-behaved and stay out of trouble. I hope that doesn't ever change.

I should think that if your son had been arrested the police would contact you rather quickly. They want to get the kids off their hands.

He's fine... sorry I didn't come back and post. He says he doesn't eat in the lunchroom... spends his lunch period out on the grass when weather permits.
