Have you ever really looked into the caloric content of your favorite fast food item? I know they are always pretty high, but I looked up one the other day. I couldn't believe it. The meal by itself without a drink was 1100 calories. That's insane for a meal.
So, I was hoping you guys had some fast food alternatives. Do you have any great dips that you use on chicken or things that you've made at home that taste better than your favorite fast food? List healthy dishes here.

Healthy alternatives??? Hmmm, I made yesterday for example curry chicken with corn. Just cut chicken on cubes, lightly fry on the pan, add water and let cook. When chcicken is cooked, add curry, ketchup, a little bit of crush read pepper flakes and corn. It sounds really easy , but it is delicious
What kind of sauces do you like? It's easy to buy them premade at the grocery store.
I had recently decided to change my eating habits and start eating more fruits and veggies and making homemade smoothies. I make baked or brioled meats, i eat steamed veggies, and make my own fruit salads. I go to subway from time to time and instead of putting mayo on my subs i put this really good fat free sweet onion sauce on it. And it tastes nothing like onion for those of you that cant stand onion. Its just a sweet sauce. It goes good with the chicken breast subs. I also eat special k cereal. and changed from whole milk to fat free milk. and white bread to wheat or 12 grain brain.
I am dieting. Here are some of my snack options:
Look for lower carb tortillas, and baked tortilla chips you can make great snacks with them.
Try baked chicken, chedder cheese Veggie-Slaw (mix), salsa or pico do gallo (make it or store buy it), and low fat sour cream, out this in a tortilla wrap.
Nachos - baked tortilla chips, top with some lower fat cheese, microwave chips & cheese so untill cheese melts, top with salsa or pico de gallo for a great snack.
Veggies are a great snack, you can dip them in hummus (store bought or homemade). or
mix low fat or fat free sour cream with salsa for a nice dip. Dip veggies and baked tortilla chips in this.
we don't like the fact that the food isn't really healthy..........
Try slightly warm honey mustard low cal dressing. I use this on dalads and chicken.
Fresh salsa is always good. Tomatoes are very good for you.
Extra vergin olive oil, Italian seasoning, fresh cracked pepper, and fresh cracked sea salt for dipping your crustry whole grain bread into.
That's all I can think of right now.
apple dunkers minus the dip instead of fries
fish, lots of fish, but make sure it's fresh
