For a man that ran on a platform of how NOT Muslim he was... his "I can relate to you because of my Muslim heritage" speech to the Middle East news should be a BIG sign of his character. He's playing all sides.

You either cant or wont see that you are worse than the radical Muslims. You spread hate against people for things like the color of their skin or the fact that their religion is different thant yours and then you quote a bible verse or 2 and think its ok.
Did it ever occur to you that the Muslims dont like the radical Muslims any more than a Christian likes a radical Christian?

But one thing is plain - Whereas all though the reign of previous President, Muslims had remained a mute witness to all extremist acts, and I have myself pointed out the fact that not one Muslim had come out vociferously against the extremists. However, towards the end of ex-Prez's rule, there have been categorical statements by Muslims especially clerics in certain quarters disowning the extremists and speaking against the jihadi elements. That only shows that the leash-hold on the terrorists during earlier years had the desired effect and they could not move about at will.

As for Obama...he can talk the talk. Now I am waiting to see if he is all talk or if he can walk the walk.

To all you "live free or die" types, let's hear how you are not radicals, just as radical as the most fundy fundamentalists.
I'm pulling for the man (O). He is our leader. He speaks of chances for reconciliation. He hopes for the best. He's an idealist. You think these things are naiive. I do not. He does not speak of a nation that is faultless, a shining golden calf for us to worship. He does not seek to blame but to go forward and work together, even tho we are of different corners of the political ring. Kicking ass can only go so far, unless you are sure you're going to kick ass forever.

As for the abortion clinic bombing thing - pure BS - every single Christian I know whether they are for or against abortion - abhor any such action. The fact that one would imply clinic bombers garner sympathy from the Christian community shows you are seriously out of touch with the facts of those of faith.
