some of the women I have known, if they thought anymore of themselves, other people would have become mere shadows, *useful* for moving furniture and come to think of it PROVIDING said furniture in the first place...

Here's my answers to your questions. Thanks for posting, after the day I have had and my life, financially as well as employment wise, is in the hands of others.

I'm a great member of the Gather community because: I have made many friends here and some of them have become off Gather friends. I'm pretty active, supportive, and fun. :)
The last nice thing I did for someone was: I called some woman that kept leaving messages to her son and daughter-in-law on our phone and gave her their correct number after finding it for her. She was in England.

1- I don't know... I have so many. :) Most likely my eyes and cheekbones.
2- I am honest and what I put out there is how I really am.

4- A video game competition! Seems fun.
5- My first husband's sister (who I went to school with for years) once told me that I had gorgeous eyes and when we were in middle school, she wanted to pull me to the side and do my makeup since I did not wear any until highschool. It was hilarious that she ended up doing my makeup when I got married. She kept joking about a fantasy come true, like working with a makeup barbie head, but cuter.

The last nice thing I did for someone was: this weekend, even though I wasn't feeling well and was trying to make dinner, my Mother-In-Law was feeling a little depressed, so I had her come to the kitchen with me, gave her a glass of wine, and we conversed as best we could....her in Spanish and myself in English.

One nice thing someone has said about me is: My husband was working on vocabulary definitions with our teenager, and I heard him tell him that the definition of altruism is 'your mother....ad nauseam'.

If I could enter any type of competition, it would be for: Multi-tasking, as a SAHM, I have that one down to a science!

One nice thing someone has said about me is: I'm a GREAT Mom!

1. My best physical feature is: I would have to say my hair or the color tone of my skin. As those are the two things people mention upon meeting or havne't seen me in a long time.
2. I'm a great member of the Gather community because: I try and get along with everyone. I also love being apart of such a wonderful social network of people. I have learned many things. I also feel I can offer different views, opinions and content to help make Gather a more diverse place to visit. While being open minded.
3. The last nice thing I did for someone was: Take my sister in law out for dinner. Because she was low on funds. It was dairy queen. (But still we ate.)
4. If I could enter any type of competition, it would be for: pixel signature tags. (It is something I have gotten and love creating. I even have a few of the creations added to a group banner I have made.)
5. One nice thing someone has said about me is: That I use my cane for balance. (That little comment helped me feel better after a situation that happen to me.)

The last nice thing I did for someone was: sent a note to the boss about someone's great performance at work, so he could be recognized.

If I could enter any type of competition, it would be for: Quilting!!! I've always wanted to enter one.
