Yesterday afternoon, I emailed Joe Camp (the producer of the old Benji movies) to ask him if he had any good photos of horses I could use for my Patches' Pet Pals designs. I explained to him that the organization's purpose is to raise money to help animals get medical care. He has a book, site and newsletter called The Soul Of A Horse so I thought if I could get some good horse photos, I could use them in my designs to raise money.
Anyway, I got an email back from him this morning saying I could use any of the photos on their site, which is marvelous! I thanked him and told him when he hears about Patches' Pet Pals, he'll know he had a part in helping.
On a personal note, I also told him that I went to high school with his son, Joey, many years ago. Of course, Joey wouldn't remember me because I was two years older and didn't have any interaction with him. Everyone knew who he was because the original Benji movie had just come out and he was in the film.
Just thought I'd throw that in for fun!
