My Eldery Godparents Got Robbed Last Night!

 They left for an hour to go to the Dollar Store. When they returned, there door had been kicked in! All kinds of stuff stloen ,plus money. I just can't beleive this crap. This is the second time! Can't the cops figure out who did this? They did at last take fingerprints. They keep their car in the garage. Thank God They were not home.

Depending upon where you are, the police are either cooperative or uncooperative. I can remember in 1990 when I was getting a restraining order enforced. The town I lived in would not lift a finger to enforce it, so I had to move in the middle of the night, and then the police in that town enforced it. They even caught up withthe guy and made him go to court, and so he got all scared and confessed. So you see, different towns and cities handle it different ways. Sorry it happened. What I just said did not really help, but I can understand your parent's predicament.

I can't believe that people do things like this. What makes anybody think they are entitled to other people's belongings? I glad your godparents weren't home, they might have been injured by these creeps.

Oh that is horrible. I hope whomever is doing this gets caught. It is a horrible, horrible feeling to know you have been robbed or someone has been in your home uninvited.

I am so MAD, went to a "meeting" with her last night, he drove us, they are both shock up. They got the door fixed, and insurance will go up again, won't get get even.

Oh my, I'm so sorry for them. I hope they aren't being staked out or something, with bad guys waiting for them to leave in the neighborhood? Scary stuff!

I am glad that hey are okay and weren't home during the robbery. I hope that they find who did this.
I am so glad your God parents were not home It seems people today are a lot more brazin reguarding the crimes.and with prison over crowding a lot just get an ankle braclet and to stay home!

That's terrible! I hate all this criminal activity going on around us. One time my aunt and uncle were robbed at gunpoint in their home, tied up, and shut in a closet with a bed pushed against it. Everything of value in the house was taken and carried away in their own station wagon, which was stolen too. Luckily, they survived but my aunt wasn't the same for a long time after. The car was gotten back months later all torn up.

My 80 year old mother's house was burglarized, thankfully, while she was on vacation. The police said that since the thieves only got about $5000 worth of goods that they probably wouldn't be back. The jerks used a chair to break into a locked closet from the wall. When it only had papers, they scattered them all over the house. They broke into the garage, damaging it, too.
I think she took it better than my brother and I did.
