In the dark...

The soft moonlight caressing each curve of your face,

My sight blinded by the shadows hiding your beauty,

Imagination running wild seeking to see the true you,

I play along because of the excitment building to see,

In the dark.

Hands wandering sending chillls though my being,

Not sure where they will end up, my body trembles,

Cant relax for the anticipation of what may be next,

Shaking with every bump and touch you give,

In the dark.

A simple silhouette of what I have longed for,

Breathing for me in such an intense way,

Grabbing the sheets I pull you closer,

Feeling your heart beating so fast for me,

In the dark.

Anything you could want, I would do,

Everything you need I would strive to grant,

Hold me tight and never let me go,

Stay close to me and show me more,

In the dark.

that used to be one of my most favorite games.....hide n seek in the dark. do you play that too? you turn off all the lights and everyone hides in the dark and the seeker tries to find everyone in the dark. it's real fun! this poem is mooshy, but its good.
