Photo Editing Fun

As I was going thru some pictures the other day to put onto disks I started picking out a few to share on Gather, since I have so many I have not yet shared.

I found this macro photo that I had taken that didn't turn out right because the flash had fired. 

But playing around with it I came up with some neat variations!

 First I took it to photoshop and played around with it a bit to come up with this:

Then I did some more editing and adjusting of color, brightness....  and framed it in a copy of itself:

and neat effects I discovered in photoshop.  I got a version of it a few weeks ago from my stepmother and just got it installed last week so over the last couple of days I have been playing around with it.

Photo editing is so much fun and really easy to do.  If I end up with something I like I just save a version, then I can either go back to the beginning and play around with the original or I can take any of the edited versions and play with them some more to see what I can come up with!
