Domino's/Subway Fight -Was burning the letter for a commerical too much?

If you don't know what I'm talking about, read the details here (which is funny in and of itself, hehe): "Domino's and Subway are in a fight"

Basically, Domino's aired a commerical about how their subs were preferred to Subway's 2 to 1. Subway threw a fit and sent them a letter demanding they stop. Instead, Domino's sent out a new commercial where the CEO opted to "oven bake" the letter.

You can watch the commerical at that link, too. It's funny, but was it too much?

I like Dominos for pizza but since my sis manages a Subway I go there for Subs. She makes them super yummy! lol! And now I'm craving both a sub and a pizza!

Ads that claim they are better than their competition tends to turn me off to the product. If there product is good, then they should just have to advertise for themselves instead of putting down the competition. Anyways, at least when I am in my home town I would much rather get a sub at Eegee's.

funny! i personally dont like dominos subs because the bread is too hard, and the meats taste prepackaged, and i dont like subways because their meat comes presliced and frozen. my fave is blimpies. fresh soft bread baked daily, meats right off of the slicer, and all of the veggies and condiments are the freshest. too bad they moved out of my area. now i have to travel more than an hour to get one, but it is sooooo worth it!
