Beats me. I have no understanding of people sometimes.

One of the great things about America is our right to free speech and freedom to believe as we choose. We may not always agree, but I respect your right to believe as you do!

That deserves a ten. We are all entitled to our own opinions. What a boring world we would be living in if we all agreed.

In my opinion it's because your posts have a radical, if not fundamentalist sentiment behind them.

You try and find any and every loophole to have a popular, legally elected president removed from office. You ignore the fact that millions upon millions of people voted for Barack Obama, support him and love this country.

Time and time again, evidence has been provided that Barack Obama's citizenship is not a fake, but you continue in your quest to raise doubt.

Sometimes when I read your posts, it reminds me of the insurgency in Iraq. Those causing chaos know that they are better off without Saddam Hussein, but they can't come to gripes with the fact that things have changed.

Instead of supporting the new Iraqi government and becoming a respectable member of the international community, they continue to do everything in their power to return to what they consider their glory days. Those days will never return to Iraq and the days of the "Old Boy's Network" are gone here in the United States.

Yes we can agree to disagree, but when is enough, enough? Conservatives don't have a monopoly on love for this country. That was clearly seen after Barack Obama was elected and during his inauguration.

I'm not in favor of any rating system. That is why I left myLot to come to Gather. However, since ratings are part of the Gather experience, you can't complain when someone gives your post a low rating.

In conclusion, don't ask Gather members -"Why do I feel like members on gather want me to sell myself out to?" You must ask yourself that question.

Dig down deep inside and you will find the answer.

my mom says the same thing. I talked her into joing Gather and she said she thought she would enjoy it more but so many people dont want to get to know people or find out what people think. They want everyone to agree and not question anything. I am not sure she will stay with gather.

Mooch, Just be yourself, that's all you can do. I've had to change the way I do Gather to make it enjoyable for me. I"m not going to set a certain amount of time to be here, or comment everything I see.. I simply don't have time for that. Just do you, don't let anyone get in the way of that.

Mooch, don't do anything different unless you want to. I've found that no matter what you do, some people just have to complain. One just never knows what's going on in another's mind sometimes.

I sure don't want everyone to think alike, if so then I would have to fight people off to get those halloween decorations I love so much.
