Blog it Out, Baby: 01/25/2009

I had a great day today!  I woke up earlier than normal because my mom and stepdad came to visit us!  We had an awesome visit.  Basically, we just spent the day hanging around the house watching movies, talking, and eating.  :)  Mom made a big pot of homemade chicken noodle soup (mmmmmmmmmmm!  lots of chunky chicken!) and brought some homemade chocolate chip cookies with her!  Talk about some comfort food!  I have lots leftover, too, so I'm good for the next few days on food around here!

I have to make $170 at ChaCha in the next three days to pay an unexpected bill that has come up, but it's no problem because ChaCha has been back-to-back like crazy these days!  If only the "away" button would work correctly so I could have a breather now and then when I'm working!

I haven't heard from hubby today yet.  He said that he would call me a little later tonight because of my mom's visit.  He was really down and kinda depressed last night when I talked to him.  I wish that there was something I could do to help him, but I know there are a lot of things I just can't understand about what it is like to live in that hell hole he is in.  He just wants to come home really bad.  I hope that he's a little bit more cheerful tonight.  Weekends are always really hard for him.  The time goes by too slow, and he doesn't have work to keep him busy and help the day go by faster.  Say a little prayer for him if you get a chance...

I'm off to do some ChaCha and just relax in front of the computer.  I'm going to try to get another video blog up tonight.  If not, I'll have one tomorrow.  I just have so much going on right now!  That is a good thing, though, because it makes the time go by fast!
