Good to be back!

There's an old song with words to the effect ,that " you don't know what you're missing till it's gone " .My apologies to the writer ,since I know I screwed up the words,but nothing could be truer. I had some pretty serious surgery on December 1,and was finally turned loose by the Doc a week or so ago.Immediately on leaving his office,my wife driving, I had a local cache lined up to hunt. It was only about a mile away,and as it worked out, I was asked to leave the property by a nice security guard for Bass Pro Sports. Darn !! a DNF for my return to caching. But,I felt alive again ,almost 2 months of inactivity ,no caching,but God bless the computer for the comfort it brought me. Good ol' Geocache.com ,the Georgia Geocacher's Assoc. ( GGA ),and now Gather's 4 groups you quinched the thirst of what I was missing ,I had really missed Geocaching. I'm hooked!!

You go Phil:) Until I read some of Marianne R.'s posts I had never heard of geo caching before. Sounds like a terrific way to get out and about and have a little adventure along the way.

That right now is a goal , get back to something I always enjoyed . I've got some more serious goals to accomplish , but the photography might help.

Phil, I wasn't sure what geocaching was so I went and read Marianne's photo essay. I have never heard of this but it sounds very interesting! I'm glad you get such enjoyment from it.
