The alternative would be to change the wording to, "We don't trust in God anymore".

In God I trust, so I voted too. Even when I was an atheist I did not feel that my right to be an atheist was infringed upon by a mere phrase.

Don't know. I trust in God, not bits of green paper. Not sure the words really dedicate the paper very effectively, but I worry sometimes if the paper is worth the words.

That is the truth our Country was built on. The reason, people left their homeland and came where they had the right to worship. Our leaders deamed this our motto for America and it has worked for a long time. What is it hurting to just leave it this way. ,,,,,Changing would cost to much and the taxpayers will be paying with this change to pay for it.
