Wow. Things are bad everywhere. This morning I saw an elderly woman bundled up and lugging two big luggage bags around town with her.

that's sad, but you have to give her credit for doing it alot of people just wouldnt work and live off of someone else. I still feel bad for her being older and all.

Dear God - some ppl gave her rides, thank goodness, but sometimes she has to walk. Then, one day the roads were all wet, and the cars splashed her. Cars that were driving right past her that could have picked her up and saved her a couple kilomoters of walking, drove past her and splashed her - she came home soaking wet.

You're really pulling me down, Man. ;)

I don't believe it. It would take her 12 hours to walk round trip...and a 9 hour work shift (with breaks and lunch)...21 hours a day. She gets by on 3 hours for sleep, eating, cleaning, bathing, etc.? Nope...I don't think so!

I'm 60 and I couldn't do it. Walking 12 hours after being on your job would be more than I could physically handle. She must receive an employee of the year award.

hubby use to walk to work when the truck broke down. It take him 2 hours from the country to in town. Thank goodness it wasn't winter here at the time as we get below 20 here quite often.

That woman has got it bad if this is true. I wonder how long she has been doing it. I mean how long the strike has been going on and how long it will last.

Ashley, you don't put gas in a diesel if you want your diesel to keep running.
