Robber Transformed Himself into a Goat

As one of the leading Nigerian newspapers, Vanguard, reported in a front-page article on Friday, the police in the Nigerian Kwara state detained a goat as an armed robbery suspect.

According to the police spokesperson, the goat is an armed robber who attempted to steal a car. In a bid to escape arrest, the robber transformed into the goat.

The police spokesman explained during a press conference that a group of people chased two armed robbery suspects who wanted to steal the car and "while one of them escaped, the other was about to be apprehended when he turned his back on the wall and transformed into a goat. They quickly grabbed the goat and here it is."

The police spokesman said the goat "armed robbery suspect" will not be left off the hook until investigations into the case are concluded.
