I joined shedding light to get some good tips, advice and support in my ultimate goal to eat healthier and lose weight.
When I was young, I was always pencil thin. My mom always had trouble finding clothes to fit me. In high school I had a nice shape, coulda used more in the boob area, but I was thin. I never really ate much, I was extremely picky. If I put on a few pounds, I'd cut back on the Doritos, and that would be that.
I worked out of high school doing painting and wallpapering, so I was active and could eat anything I wanted. Then along came the desk job and the pounds creeped on and creeped on.
So here I am at 45, wondering where in the heck all this weight came from? I decided to eat healthier in the new year, not only for myself but also for my family. I serve 2 vegetable at every meal and a huge salad now, and even the kids are enjoying the salad.
I want to make a lifestyle change, along with losing weight.

Now, are you drinking water? Also, are you moving around or just sitting? If you drink more water, you'll have more energy to begin walking around your neighborhood. Thanks for joining the group and go on to the next step when you can! All the best. Salud
