Sue and I took advantage of the great weather Thursday to look for eagles. We saw about a half dozen and got a few good pictures.
We started on the old Chain of Rocks Bridge in St. Louis. We only saw one eagle, in flight, and I didn't get a picture. Got some nice scenery.
We had better luck near Alton, Illinois, on the Missouri side of the Mississippi. The first picture is the Clark Bridge. Ice flowing down river backs up at the dam in Alton.
