The racial crap has to stop. I'm sure Obama wants to be known for what he does as President of the United States more than what color he is, at least I'm hoping that's not what he wants. The President is Black, he is also white (on his mother's side) and to quote him in an interview about his mother he described her as "the dominant figure in my formative years... The values she taught me continue to be my touchstone when it comes to how I go about the world of politics." Chicago Tribute by Tim Jones, Correspondent. Thank God for that because his father was a bigamist, not that it was illegal in Kenya and even though he had permission from his first wife to marry his second one, he neglected to tell his second one that he had a first one until she was pregnant. After his parent's divorce in 1964, Barack Obama only saw his father once more when he was ten years old and the man died another eleven years later. For all the hoopla over the fact that he is black, the man for which that part of his lineage is credited was not exactly something even Barack Obama appears to have to much pride in.
Finally, the man was elected not just by African Americans; he was elected also by quite a few Americans of other international roots. As far as him being the first black President, I doubt it. It's just that all the other Presidents were paler. There is nothing about that rap that instills any pride in America or what it stands for, including our President.
I'm adopted, maybe we all should be.

Also, I don't think people should be taking their political cues from rap songs. Geesh!
