A New Year, A New Me

Yesterday I decided it was time for a change.  I started with the most obvious one and cut my hair.  And I didn't do it small time.  I had it call chopped off.  In fact there was enough there to contribute to locks of love which I had been hoping for.

 Here's the before  from the front and back.

Makes a big difference doesn't it? I love it!  One thing it did make me realize was how much of me depression has robbed from me.  I'd gone so long not caring what I looked like that I let my hair grow so long and without a style.  Maybe now I'll even put some earrings on! :)

The pictures aren't the best since they were taken with my webcam, but I wanted to be able to show the difference.

I admit my guy has been a huge help with mine.
I did chop mine off 13 years ago (youngest kid is 13 lol).
It will be easy to care for. I care what I look like, not like others though? My style is natural lol!

looks good to me either way. at least now it's a wash and go type style that doesn't require too much fussing with.

What a huge difference, and congrats, you look GREAT with short hair!
I have let my hair go so many times, and chopped big ammounts off of it myself, into actual styles instead of just hanging limp hair.

It looks great, what a nice style! And what a nice change, I would go for the earrings next. But I am an earring fiend and I must own over 100's of pairs I've been collecting from a long time ago! Do it girlfriend, get a pair of drop down swingy ones and you'll feel like shaking your head all day!
