Welcome to Music as Muse! In this group, I will post a musical piece every other week, to which members will then post their own creations in response. There is no limit to which medium the responsive creations can be - everything from writing to photographs to video to traditional and digital art is welcome so long as it is your own personal creation and is in some way a response to the musical score posted. The only other real guideline is that is your work contain "music as muse" somewhere in the title, or else be tagged as such.
The first musical muse will be a piece called "Watermark," performed by both Art Garfunkel and Richard Harris (not actually a duet, but their two versions fused together).

I'm hoping and praying that this effort of yours will flourish and flower and go from strength to strength. What a wonderful way you have found of bringing out and boosting the innate creativity of people!
I'll try to get as many people here as I can - it'll be such a joy to see all the creativity that your forum inspires in them all. Who knows, people could come up with some truly revolutionary stuff, and all thanks to your brilliant initiative .
I've always been most inspired , and written some of my most heartfelt stuff when there was some particularly moving piece of music that was playing in the background. I've even composed some of my best stuff when , amazingly, there was something radically different in tone and tenor playing on the deck!
So this concept of yours has really struck a chord with me ... I'll definitely contribute from time to time to your initiatives, depending on how the moment moves me, okay?!!
