The wonderful 5-day long weekend was finally over, and I got Kyleigh out of bed this morning to go to school. She looked very depressed and said she didn't want to go to school, but she accepted her fate and held on tight to her Little Bee.
I had to work late and my husband picked her up. Normally Kyleigh would cry and yell "Hui jia (Go home)!" loudly when she saw either one of us. But my husband said Kyleigh did not cry today. That was an improvement.
In the meantime, I took a break from work and got some Chinese food for Kyleigh. Both of our cars actually reached the driveway at the same time. I asked Kyleigh if she were hungry, and she said no. But then when I offered her food, she ate two bowls of noodles, pork chops, string beans, and broccolis. So I guess she was hungry, and it almost looked like she didn't eat anything all day.
I had to go back to work and Daddy played with Kyleigh for the majority of the evening. When I got home, I brought in the mail to sort with Kyleigh, and she had fun working on our 1040.

Kyleigh went to bed around 10:30 PM, which was relatively early for her. Hopefully she can get up a little early tomorrow and have a slightly better mood going to school.

So did she get you a big tax return?
You wrote she went to sleep at 10:30pm, i am not trying to be rude, but i think thats way to late for her to go nite nite. If she does go in the afternoon, then its fine, but if she goes in the morning that might be another reason why she does cry, cuz she did not get enough sleep.
I am trying to help...
We are going to give the day care a few more weeks and see how it goes.
Best wishes!
