In My Life, So Far by Georgiana Steele-Waller
From the first paragraph Georgiana grabs the readers attention and keeps you there with her. Her easy writing stlyle makes you feel like she is talking to just you.
Born to theactrial parents her life was filled with the glamour of Hollywood. Growing up her life was a whirlwind of attending Hollywood parties, always being surrouded by movie stars and other famous people in Hollywood. Georgiana is on the ride of a lifetime and she takes you right along with her.
Around the age of thirteen, with the wisdom that a thirteen year old has,or does not have, Georgiana decided school was not for her. She embarked into the field of modeling gracing the pages of Teen and Seventeen magazines. From modeling to acting, she was for a time the stand-in photo double for Mia Farrow in the series Peyton Place.
You are with Georgiana through her drug use and  her adventures with the Beatles. She spent time with them talking, laughing and smoking, waking up one morning sharing a bed (just sleeping, really) with John Lennon.
Georgiana's life was filled with one exciting thing after the other. There was her interest in horses, an interest that still holds her. This was the 60's and Georgiana was living it to the fullest.
Her life was not all fun. She shares with you her rape and when her attacker later stalked her, something she would rather not think about.
There are many pictures of Georgiana and others throughout these years to be enjoyed. Now divorced she was once married to Gordon Waller of Peter and Gordon.
A personal note from me: I am a war baby so I was not in the generation of the baby boomers. I read and saw on television the things that were happening. Georgiana's book, for me, was a lesson on life in the 60's, an understanding of it all so to speak. For many who lived and participated in the activities of the 60's this writing will certainly bring back many memories to you. Georgiana Steele-Waller has shared with us an interesting and exciting life. You won't be able to put the book down.
