The heat is on in S. Florida!!

I cannot believe it! I've actually had to turn my heat on DURING THE DAY in S. Florida! This is a first for me in my 14+ years of living here! I've turned it on at night a few times, but it is COLD today! We were very close to hitting freezing level last night, which would be a first in about 20-25 years!

I know, I know... many of you are dealing with far worse, but we S. Floridians don't have clothes for this type of weather! LOL  I guess it's gonna be colder still tonight!  I wish I had some chili - that sounds good tonight!

yeah thats how it is in south TEXAS.
As a Michigander who is surrounded by snow in very high piles, I would just like to say I am not sorry Florida is cold!! LOL!!

wow, make sure you stay nice and warm. its really cold here to at night and in the morning, but it warms up to 60 right now during the day.

You'll just have to layer your clothes. That helps when you are going into different temperatures. Store is too hot, take off the top layer. Put it back on before going outdoors.

It's the pits to plan a warm vacation spot, then have it get cold. I have actually left Florida after 36 hours cause of a weeks cold spell. The orange trees were once frozen, and it has snowed in Tampa. Take pix in long pants and enjoy that hot chili!
