Where to start well I used to have cingular wireless before AT&T took them over cingular was a great company but when AT&T took them over they have started goin down hill, they are very greedy and there customer service lacks badly. Anyways we got there prepaid go phone plan well at first I thought it might be descent where we got a $10.00 card which gave us 40 mins a month at $.25 a min. then a couple days later we got a $20.00 unlimited nights and weekends card which changed our plan to $.10 a min $1.00 a day for every day we use it plus unlimited mobile to mobile to any AT&T customer, I also got 200 text for $4.99. So far so good well I went to record my voicemail and set it up after 9pm it charged me so I call AT&T and told them what happened they said they credited my account and it shouldn't happen again to hang-up and try. So I did this and it charged me again so I called back this time the woman told me that it will always charge to call voicemail regardless if its after 9pm or not... so pretty much means if I have no money on my phone no voicemail wow what a crock.
2nd problem texting.... Like most companies I figured it was unlimited incoming free and I had 200 outgoing messaging package, which is mms, txt, instant, and picture messaging, well I noticed I started getting charged more text than what I was sending again called AT&T back and asked and I get charged no matter what text bundle I have outgoing and incoming messages unless I was unlimited, that's a crock as well.
3rd problem Internet.... Even though I don't have this on my phone I was looking over there website and noticed for go phones I could get for 15.00 a month unlimited data net on my phone, which I thought was so cool cuz then bein my phones blue tooth I could connect my computer to it and go online and have high speed at home. So I called AT&T again and asked them about the data internet unlimited and asked for them to tell me more about it and they said they don't offer it anymore, yet its still on there website wow they must never do anything on that site then cuz they said they haven't offered it for awhile, I even called a couple more times and asked a couple people got the same answer. They told me they cut it cuz people were getting online through their computer on it like it's a big freakin problem. Wow what happened to people connecting there computers to there cell phone for business when they were on the road.
4th problem poor customer service.... well so far as you can see no one seems to know anything at AT&T, I can usually get a different answer every time I call, amazing ain't it.
5th problem lies... well this kinda connects to number 4 because I was told when I switched the plan to have unlimited nights and weekends that I get mobile to mobile even if I have no day time mins. Well I wasn't to worried about it cuz most people I talk to have AT&T so it was all good. Well guess what I'm outta day time mins and I can't call anyone during the day at all, plus I can't get voicemails because unlike most companies where if u have no day mins it goes straight to voicemail nope not with AT&T it tells people your phone is unavailable durin the day.
I'm sure if I sat here awhile I'd have more but just a warning to anyone looking for a cell phone provider don't choose AT&T because these are just a few problems if u want there wireless flaws as well let me know... they got them too....

When I found I could get 2 free phones at another company, I switched. Trying to get the necessary code to keep the number I'd had for 11 years, they made me wait to be switched to someone who tried to get me to stay with AT&T. I had to demand the pitch stop and to get the necessary number. I had just paid the bill but they charged me an entire month to keep my phone number.
Not an AT&T fan.
I use Metro...unlimited calling plan.
