Does It Bother You When..

nope I just figure someone made a mistake

I am guilty of this sometimes. When i click on the groups sometimes my computer goes fast and sometimes slow. At times it will add groups I did not want it to add. I try to go back and make sure but sometimes it gets by me!

If it happens once in a while from the same Gather member, no big deal! But, I do have a couple moderated groups and I've had over 300 submissions NOT on topic from the same member and that irritates me!

As for making a mistake - if it's a one time thing or once in a while, sure. I have a series of people that do it daily... and that's no accident.

I try very hard to not make that mistake but I am sure it happens from time to time.

It doesn't bother me, I figure they made a mistake, where is has been posted does not take away from weather or not the content is enjoyable.

If it is a one time thing, I figure it's a mistake and it doesn't bother me too much. It is the repeat offenders I generally ignore; that behavior is just rude.

Yes, typically because the group topic is one I was interested in, and the out-of-place article isn't. I've left groups that had a narrow and defined purpose where the group owner did nothing when a member or members treated it like a post-anything dump. There was one that was especially bad because the intent of the group was uplifting and the articles being dumped into it were of a negative and obnoxious nature and even the titles reflected it. And he would often post multiples a day.

There's little excuse for it now that brief descriptions are included under the group names when you're choosing groups when publishing the article. If it's a one time thing, I overlook it if it's not my group, or remove it without comment if it's in my topical group. I've blocked members from my gamers group for repeated offenses.

I know sometimes it happens by mistake; I was specifically talking about the ones that show up in multiple groups with the same defined purpose even though they have nothing to do with the subject. I was not really saying whether that's right or wrong, either. I just wondered if other people had the same instant reaction I have of just rejecting the article if it's in the wrong place. I only really realized I was doing that today.

It doesn't bother me unless it is outlandishly wrong loke poetry in the freebies section or something.

I'll read whatever interests me, but I admit I have begun removing people from my group who repeatedly post what they shouldntaoughtnta. :-)
