I received the series DVD of Moonlight in today's mail. I preordered this one back in mid-December and have been anxiously awaiting its arrival. I managed to watch 6 of the 16 episodes tonight.

It's awesome watching them back to back with no commercial interruptions. And in watching, it only makes me miss this tv show all the more. I still can't believe this one got axed. It was so good.

You would think with all the Twilight mania, it would be a hit if they brought it back. Unfortunitely I know that's not going to happen.

So I'll just watch the series over and over, remembering what idiots the execs at CBS were to let this one go.

yeah it sucks when great shows get axed ! my absolute favorite.. Veronica Mars.. got canceled after it's third season.. but now they are making a movie.. which i am sooo incredibly excited for ! maybe moonlight will get a movie? if they have fans like VM.. it could happen !

I still can't believe that they cancelled Moonlight. Vampires are so in now with True Blood and Twilight. CBS really missed the boat.

Does the DVD contain any episodes that didn't air?

Joe Silver, Moonlight's producer, had talked of a possible movie. Nothing has come of it as far as I know. They did store the sets rather than destroy them so there is always hope.

No Kat. It has commentary about all the episodes, but I was a tad disappointed that it doesn't appear to include any other extras.

Sci fi channel is picking up the series. I saw commercials. I wonder if they have good response after the first season airs will they make more... ones got to hope.

I am definitely going to get the dvds... I started rewatching on SciFi and got totally drawn right back in. I do think it was a crazy choice for them to ax the show. Sigh.
