Verie - Actually only one is an American. The rest are Flemish Belgian, French Belgian, Dutch, Kenyan, Indian, and French.

I was watching from ireland, on the border between north and south. in the midst of a serious snow and sleet storm so we didn't go out, but our irish friends were singing along with the star spangled banner, which was great. just had an email from another american friend who watched in a pub in trafalgar square in london, said people there were clapping and cheering all through.

Kerry - That's exciting to hear. There was the same sort of enthusiasm around town here in Brussels also. Seems the Europeans have felt a bit disenfranchised and have high hopes for the new Administration.
