How will you pray?
by Marilyn Mackenzie
Today, I read an article by Joseph Farah entitled, "Pray Obama Fails."Â Here's just a bit of what he said:
"...nowhere does the Bible ever suggest evil rulers are to be obeyed. When the rule of men conflicts with the commands of God, the Bible leaves no doubt about where we should stand.
That's why I do not hesitate today in calling on godly Americans to pray that Barack Hussein Obama fail in his efforts to change our country from one anchored on self-governance and constitutional republicanism to one based on the raw and unlimited power of the central state.
It would be folly to pray for his success in such an evil campaign."
He sites Bible verses to back up his decision and others he says will be used to show why and how people should pray for the new president's success. Here's the link to the article:  Pray That Obama Fails Â
I hope you'll read the entire article by clicking above. Then come back and share your thoughts. What do you think? Should people pray for Obama's failure? Or for his success?
As I said in a previous post today, I believe I'll pray for him to have wisdom, and that he'll uphold the Constitution, and that he'll keep the entire country in his thoughts as he goes about doing his business, rather than just part of our country.
If you're curious about how others responded to this question, here are the results. When I logged on, there were 5,564 votes.
