Snow in South Carolina - Phyllis, did you see this?

Can you believe this? 

 

My weather alert was flashing orange and when I opened it here is what I read:

 I thought I left this stuff behind.  Funny thing is, it's 53 degrees.  No sun and it is really damp and feel much colder than that.  I suppose overnight when the temperatures fall it is is going to rain and turn to snow.  It has been pretty cold here at night.  I bet the roads will be a mess tomorrow, even if they say they won't, traffic will be a mess.  The say the slightest bit of snow on the ground causes the area drivers to go crazy and there are a lot of accidents.  I would think there may be ice patches also.

I know they get snow here in the south, I've even seen it in Jacksonville, Florida, but common, I've only been here a year, I thought I'd see it maybe years from now.  Whaaaaaaa!  I moved to Myrtle Beach for the sun and fun!

We have had colder than normal temps here too. Over the weekend they said it was the coldest we've been in at least 5 years. I detest cold weather and will be so glad for some warmth. Stay warm!

My daughter had to scrape ice off her windshield a few days ago, in Orlando!! She said the same thing..."I thought I was done with this!" Luckily she still had a scraper in her trunk!

Well Nana....I've just found your article. When I first saw it I thought 'Oh know not again!!!' As you know one flake is too much for me........this cold weather is awful!!! They actually talked about seeing snow flurries in parts of Florida - north of us. We did fine - the lowest temp was 35 degrees.
