Those interested in being eligible to nominate the 2009 Hugo Awards, the most prestigious awards in the speculative fiction community, must be either a supporting or full-attending member of the 66th World Science Fiction. Members of Anticipation (aka the 67th World Science Convention or Worldcon 67) are also eligible to nominate, providing they acquire either their supporting or full-attending membership on or before January 31, 2009. No other qualifications are required.

The Hugo Awards honor excellence in the speculative fiction genre in writing, art, and film. Projects eligible for nomination are those released in 2008. This year's award ceremony will be held at Anticipation.
