My lovely children and my darling boyfriend have done it again. This time they managed somehow to wash all MY clothes with someone elses clothes. Someone elses whom had left a glittery lip gloss in her pocket. This beautiful glittery lip gloss is now made my clothes look like it has lines and spots of red and glitter. Not only did they wash the clothes with it but they dried them too.
The glittery lip gloss is on my shirts for work. It is on my new jeans that I bought last month. It is on my warmest sweatshirt that I wear to work. It is also on my youngest childs white school uniform shirts.
I seen it and wanted to cry. It is rare I get to buy myself new clothes and pretty much everything that the lip gloss got on of mine is new. So now for the lack of not having very many things to wear that fit me, I am stuck wearing clothes with lip gloss spots.
Does anyone out there know how to get the red glittery lip gloss out of clothes? Especially after its been washed and dried?
I think the lip gloss that got washed was a Victories Secret Beauty rush brand. It is a dark red with glitter.
HELP!!!

some people swear by that oxedal stuff
With lip gloss there is a lot of oils and dye, so maybe try some dishsoap (Dawn is excellant for food stains and other greasy spills) and hand scrub a spot or two on the jeans, and soak in very hot water... not sure if that would be good for the sweater and other materials, but should not hurt denim.
What you do is go to the store and buy two Oxy-Clean products... Buy the powdered stuff and the spray stuff.
Then you take your Oxy-Clean products and a straight hair comb, not the very thick kind but the kind we always got free from school on school picture day. You can get these kind of from the dollar store if you don't have one.
Wet your clothes in ALL the spots that need cleaning... not dripping wet but wet enough. Sprinkle a good amount of powdered Oxy-Clean on a spot then wet it liberally with the spray Oxy-Clean.
Now take the comb and gently scrub it back and forth in small circles over the spot. Your oxy-clean is going to start foaming a bit at this point.. GOOD! Don't rinse. Wash clothing again with Oxy-clean still on them.
This will work even with material that needs a gentle touch... just be GENTLE with the comb LOL.
This happened to me a couple of times. Forgot to check kids' pockets. One time it was black crayon all over the clothes, and the other time my daughters glittery lip gloss!!! This WILL work!
It will take you a log
