I Do Not Like The Winter!

  II Can't swim, garden, go for a walk, or sunbathe. I can't wait for spring! I can't play outside with the Grandkids, it is way too cold!

Yup. I agree. Here, it is not usually cold and snowy. We had twenty years worth in December. We are now enjoying brisk winds (toppling trees) and sunshine. For us, gray skies and rain are the usual in winter. In Montana, rain kept people in. (iIt rained so rarely.) Here, snow does the trick. (It snows so rarely.)

I find the older I get the less I am able to tolerate the cold and snow.

No doubt -- don't want to go outside at all! I think the ice age may indeed be coming back, or else it's just a return to the old winters we used to have. I remember back around '77 or so, and my brother's Subaru minicompact car vs. vast banks of snow. Now it looks like they're coming back! At least the plants will have lots of time-released moisture this spring -- should be a bumper crop if they've survived. Thanks for posting this!

We are getting cabin fever here as well. The snow is fun for a little bit. We enjoyed it a bit today by taking the kids sledding and they had a good time.

Thanks for the depressing thought Christine Z! It snowed again last night. I was in my glory shoveling at 11pm. It was so peaceful and beautiful. I love looking out my window this morning and seeing the world so clean!! And white!!! More snow tonight!!!!

We've had a lot of snow here, but it's the bitter temperatures that keep me inside more than the snow. Even our dog, who loves to be outside and running through the snow has been anxious to get back in.

Winter is my favorite season. It is actually about the only time I can go outside (in Florida). Even though the weather is great here, I also loved Maine when we were there. I could do without the slush, but other than that I loved it.

I agree!!! All these below zero temps and all the snow is really wearing on me .. oh and the getting dark early and staying dark later is all really depressing!

Maybe if enough of us "will" it enough, we can make spring happen faster. We got about 10 inches of snow between yesterday and last night, so I'm all done with winter!

I hate winter as well. The worst part is I live in a place that is cold 6 months out of the year. This morning on my way to work it was 8 degrees! Spring, please hurry up! I need some sunshine.

We are freezing here in MI and the wind chill tonight is supposed to be 15 below zero. Right now it is 6 below. I want spring to come so I can walk and train my dogs and take them to the dog park.
