Guess what I got for deals this week :)
Coborns (our local grocery store) had 2 different deals on cereal.
Deal #1:
Buy any 10 GM products from their list and get $4.00 off. 3 of the cereals on their list were Total, MultiGrain Cheerios and Fiber One Honey Clusters. The cereal was on sale for $2.00/box and boxtops4education.com had $.75 coupons that you could print for each flavor. So here's the deal--10 boxes of cereal for $20.00 minus 10 ($.75) coupons minus $4.00 for buying 10 = $8.50 or $.85/box.
Deal #2:
Buy any 5 Quaker products from their list and get $3.00 off. Captain Crunch and Life cereals were both on the list (on sale for $1.88) and I had coupons for $1.00 off of 2 boxes. So here's the deal--5 boxes of cereal for $9.40 minus 2 ($1.00) coupons minus $3.00 for buying 5 = $4.40 or $.88/box. I did this deal twice for a total of 10 boxes for $8.80.
Then I went to KMart where they had GM cereals on sale for $2.00/box. I had coupons for $1.00 off of 3 which they were doubling this week. So here's the deal--6 boxes of cereal for $12.00 minus 2 ($1.00) coupons (doubled to $4.00) = $8.00 or $1.33/box. But wait......If I bought 5 boxes and sent for the refund I would get a $5.00 gift card back in the mail. That makes the total $3.00 or $.50/box. YEAH!!!
Then I went to Walgreens for their deals of the week.
Mushrooms were on sale 4/$2.00 and we put mushrooms in everything. So got the last 4 cans on the shelf for $2.00
Milk was on sale for $2.29 (good price for us) so I got a gallon of that.
But the best deal was the pop. Pepsi 12-packs were on sale for $3.00. If you bought $20 worth of Pepsi products you got a $10 Register Reward. Plus I had 2 coupons I had printed for Pepsi. So here's the deal--7 12-packs of Pepsi and Mt. Dew for $21.00 minus 2 ($1.00) coupons minus the $10 RR = $9.00 or 1.29/12-pack. YEAH!!!
My total for the day was $38.59 and I will get $5.00 back in the mail.
Nothing was FREE today but I still think I got some great deals. And I'm stocked on cereal for a loooooooooong time.

I went to Kroger's and I bought 3 boxes of Special K cereals for $8.00 and got 1 gallon of milk and 1 gallon of orange juice for free. Love those sales. That saved me almost $8.00!
sounds and looks like that you got alot of good bargains today while you were out shopping. whoo hoo! and yes, it does look like that you-all will not be running out of cereal anytime soon. lol let us all know here at Gather when you do finally run out of the cereal that you bought today. lol

Can you eat all this much cereal?
God Bless and Have a great week!
Great deals. I am always getting deals that are too good to pass up on cereal and my husband thinks that I am crazy for buying so much, but we always end up eating it...lol. I just have to keep after the kids to finish one box before starting another one since if they had their way we'd have 10 boxes of different kinds of cereal open at once.
