Healing with time...

With mixed feelings I write,

Not sure which steps to take,

Loving so long, needing so much,

Does time really heal?

 

Running through good times,

Skipping the bad,

Deep devotion still here,

Should time really heal?

 

Broken today, better tomorrow,

Worth any pain that may arise,

Wishing for happy days,

Will time really heal?

 

Heart so full of love,

Emotions fill my body,

Waiting for an answer,

Can time really heal?

I think time heals by placing tissue over the scar, so to speak.

I have learned that it is better to forgive, but not to forget. Otherwise the lesson gets lost.

Yes, time does heal, though for some things it may take longer than others....also depends on how much we let it.

can time really heal?

well....I've heard time wounds all heels. So, I don't know. But I do know this. After about 10 years or so you forget a lot of stuff, so it don't make no difference. And then when your old and crotchety, not only do you not remember but you don't give a crap either. So either way you win!
