Am I missing something here on Gather that may be very obvious or easy? It doesn't count that I'm always in a state of confusion anyhow. Sometimes that is an asset.
I may view a profile, and maybe make a friend. I comment on friends content, or any post that looks interesting. I may post to a group, and don't really remember who the owner was. I have seen people say "they looked to see how many groups that person owns". How do you do this? A profile does not tell which groups, or how many, that person may own? Only by looking at the group page does it show who the owner is. Is there a method to be able to look and see which group(s) a person owns?
Sometimes I view content of a person, sometimes they are a friend, but I never realize they own a group. Maybe I would be interested in that group. Or, I post to a group, but neglect to view the owners individual content.
If all that makes any sense, thanks for your input to match owners to groups.

As has been mentioned above, you can view a member's groups from their profile page. Then using the sort options along the left-hand sidebar, refine the results to list only groups they are a member of, or those they own.
You may access the group listing from any member's profile page or content display pages, depending upon how the member viewing your content arrived at the page.
For example, some members may see links above your post to view your other posts, photos, videos, and groups. However, I do not. This is due to the location from where I clicked on the link to view your post. If a member accesses your content from your profile page, then these options are visible to them while viewing your content display page. If members access your content from any other location in the community these options are not visible.

I should have clarified my comment above.
When content is accessed from community listings ("Recent", "Most Discussed", "Highest Rated", etc.), search results, or email notifications, the cross-promotional links I mentioned above are NOT displayed. The links ARE displayed when you access content from your profile, the profile of other members or your "My Gather" page.
