This is pretty neat...

Have you ever seen one of our military walking past you and wanted to convey to them your thanks, but weren't sure how or it felt awkward? Recently, a gentleman from Seattle created a gesture which could be used and has started a massive movement to get the word out. Please everybody, take just a moment to watch a 30 second video..... This is absolutely wonderful! Thanks for sharing......and yes, I DO always try to thank a soldier whenever I see one.......I'm not afraid to approach them and thank them for serving our country and that I do appreciate them! I really think our soldiers need to hear this more often. Too often, we take them all for granted!!!

I thank them when ever I can, I have a few friends that are stationed in Afghanistan and I send messages all the time.

A great idea, even as a retiree I get people saying things like this to me all the time. Sometimes it seems gratuitous but most of the time heartfelt. Kind of embarrassing to hear it now but still better than the occasional baby killer I heard from the lefties over the years.
