The weather did NOT warm up

Our heat wave didn't come. Instead, high winds came in from the south, and we're sitting at -13 right now. It's supposed to be around -8 by 3pm, actual temps. The wind chill is making it worse.

My dad and step-mom are not going to be coming to the birthday party. My mom is going to attempt the roads, but said that if they're too bad, she'll turn around (I told her if she didn't want to attempt it, it would be ok, but she doesn't want the kids to be disappointed). My friends Karen & Dave are going to do the same thing.

If the weather is that bad over there (My dad said it was getting bad, and supposed to get worse through out the day), then I'd rather they were all safe that here. They all live in the GR area, so they're over an hour away from here. Nick's co-worker's daughter will likely still come, because she has to be in town to talk with her ex-husband today anyway.

It might wind up being a very small party.
