Flip-pant light of the day !!! Poetry Please....

Flip a coin to flop a shine

Flick the flimsy slip of due drop sly !

Anytime pop-up unexpected places

All rainless clouds form mazes !!

That hold for a rainbow stages

Of colourful breast to laud praises !!!

Abreast with melancholy hazes

Jerk myself out of inertia braces,

Flipping days just of importance

Around the day of my Birthday !

Thronged festivals of harvest

'Lohri and Pongal' pulsating phases

Changes faces - Sunrise to sunset !!

Then 'Makar Sankranti' holy proposes

Dip 'n' bathe in river water slashes ...

Of the Day supposed on levied side

When Sun shuns its chill-hide

Seek move up to northward ride !!!

Of mind and gaze

I unstring again my strings

To play the tune win-win

The seven days of arresting views !

Yet ordinary tale to react and

Review the difference the colors make

Slightly from unsightly to insightful !!

Praise of spectacularly dressed rays

Foot taping cult of means to end,

Challenging the wit to seeming success!

Rubbing your arrow pierce the seed

The unreal and idiotic fantasy …

Breaking the perception of the world sinew

Placid to vibrant beauty overwhelming

On scale of incredible hood-exotic

Hamper your mood tom tom overdue

Achievement amazing allude

prelude to drastic preview

Performance bounce as announcer to composer

Beyond accolades, happening subject

Previewed the light romance drunken

Problem of plenty hoodwink

Hoot the pulses racing really

For sizzling factor soothing…

Hassle free plot throned

To a new found troth to see

The winning light of the day –

In vicious circle beautiful and fresh!!!

Wow -- that's really cool! Earlier tonight I was listening to a program called "Sci-Ops Radio" on Freedom Underground (WFURadio.com). They played this weird recording of a guy named Francis E. Dec -- he sounded like a TV preacher with outlandish theories of how the government's "Frankenstein radio" was controlling everybody. I checked out some of the websites about it, and almost died laughing at all the theories he had. Guess he used to send weird messages to people (especially in the media) and a DJ once recorded him. Some of it is horribly racist, but if you put that aside, you might get a kick (kook?) out of it. Thanks for posting this way-cool poem!

I get to your destination through God's graces
But I found your poem to be off to the races
It wore several hats and not just a few faces
And though it was good I'd still rather see Ann in her laces
But you did hit a home-run and touched all the bases
So I will say good job & goodnight and fold holding aces.

For most of the poem you were painting images that seemed fresh and lively and your rhyme was flowing at a pleasurable speed. Then, you switched into philosophy, losing me because frankly this just didn't mesh with the previous verse.

Part of what separates poetry from prose, or at least it was in my day, is the use of words for their sounds, not just meanings. You remind us that that can be done, and most skillfully.
"Slightly from unsightly to insightful !!" Gotta love it!
"Performance bounce as announcer to composer" Well crafted! (as is the line immediately preceding).
In short, Bravo!

I have a bit of a critique I feel very important. In my opinion, a good poem has message, rhythm and balance. Balance is often the most difficult aspect. You start with a very nice rhyming pattern, but then you abandon this. I wonder why?

Your words have danced with glee around my spirit, taking me to points unknown. Fantastic in its rhythm which seems to increase when you ceased the rhyming pattern. That gives it an ever increasing tempo which draws the reader in.

The mere thought of freedom of choice is that I cherish. You're a very gifted writer, so don't let my critiques get you down or cause you to put my image on a Voodoo doll and stick needles in.
