Oregon Trails with Mum (and a camera)

Our friend Gina took us out for a drive yesterday

on the open road.

It was a cold and frosty morning

but the sun soon boiled the frost to mist

in sunshine and warmth.

We sampled ice cream and cheese

at the Tillamook cheese factory

then drove on alongside the Nestucca River

to Pacific City

Dang...you should have stopped and rescued me from work...it was on your way!
I love Cape Kiwanda. Did you climb up the sand dune? There is quite a view from the top. Oh, and crab...was there any fresh crab to bring home.

This is photographic poetry. I love the clock building (pub?). The dolphin hanging from the rearview mirror at the onset and ending is a nice touch.

That lady standing with a cane looks suspicious. She might be a pirate wanting to steal that sailing ship. Rumor has it she's related to Sir Francis Drake!!! Call homeland security!!!
