It is so wonderfully quiet and still here. Probably because all of the sane people are indoors.

 

Everything is frosted

I wonder how the the little things keep warm

I'm going to go down to the lake. Looks like the geese have been here before me.

Yep, there they are. It's not quiet here.

There's always a splash of red around somewhere.

You might want to wrap yourself in an afghan before you view the rest of these photos.

Kay, oh my - each one of these images was a feast for my eyes. Great shots and really good observations - loved the geese tracks in the snow and the trees - oh you have captured remarkable tree shots - really good composition and those red berries against the stark background is really charming.
