here is an oldie but goodie! the name of the song is "Take Me Home, Country Roads", by John Denver.

so tell me, do you remember this song? also, did you ever see John Denver in concert?

I absolutely adore the late John Denver and all his music.....he was one of the greatest, and I'll never forget the day he was killed in the plane accident....I cried my heart out.

He was one of my favorite singer. I seen him twice, once in Charleston, WV and once at Bush Gardens in Williamsburg, VA in 1990. My favorite song was Grandma Feather Bed.
I remembered two other times he came to Charleston, first time he sung on the Capitol steps, when the song Country Roads came out, little was known about him then. The other time was when he was singing to raise money for flood relief. My ex-husband knew he was in town, it was free, he didn't want to take me, and there was a ball game that night what I remember it was in 1986. My ex-husband look like John Denver, but believed he never acted like him and he couldn't sing like him either.

West Virginia, mountain momma take me home country roads.....
OMG I love this song. It is indeed a song that is great. there will never be another John Denver out there again. sad that he had to leave this beautiful earth because of a plane crash.
