This is breaking news. A US Air flight with 151 passengers crash landed into the icy Hudson River in New York City. Apparently the pilot tried to avoid a flock of seagulls or Canada geese. Birds flying into engines is a comman problem. What's freaky is I blogged about birds and the Hudson River and prophetic messages earlier today at my blog, the Boomer Muse. Apparently all of the passengers survived the crashed and have been pulled out of the frigid 40 degree water to safety.

Both engines were knocked out from the flock of birds which is unusual.

I heard the news as I was driving home a while ago....

Nice bird portrait too.
I heard that they're going to charge the few surviving birds with terroristic destruction of an aircraft.
Remember the Potomac crash in '83 January, a plane hit a bridge and crashed into the Potomac river in DC - Air Florida Flight 90 - all 74 passengers were killed and five motorists. It crashed into the 14th street bridge during a failed takeoff attempt.
The wiki says Jan '82 but I was in DC at the time. It was '83.
I'm no stranger to pre-monitions. It's just part of being intuitive. What was weird is I decided against posting the photo of the Hudson River with the Manhattan skyline in the distance. I'll post it one of these days.
