Someone mentioned the other day that they were able to find some freelance writing jobs on Craigslist.  I was curious if anyone had been able to find some extra money earning jobs and how they did it.  I can't quite figure out how to look for things like that on there.  If you could clue me in, that would be great.

Oh God...our Craigslist job section is littered with junk job offers. I would be so careful because most will seem real and good and then suddenly you are re-directed to Inbox Dollars or some other site like it.

I managed to find a girl looking for people to participate in paid taste tests at my college, thanks to Craigslist. That was handy, and fun :)

I have browsed that site - but nothing else. I guess if you are cautious then you should be OK! I know my friend posted on there looking for a nanny! :)!

I go into Craigs, then pick my state (you can pick any states as your go) and then go to writing, editing...I have found many freelance writing jobs, and one online text support temp job by using CL.

I have found that 90% of all transcribing jobs are a online pay to get scam.
Never pay for a job anywhere.

All the jobs I applied for I got over half of them. I wrote the required articles, submitted them (i always submit a portion of the article until paid, when they then recieve the entire submission-protects us both) and I have always been paid.
Amounts vary - one job I received $275, one was $55. It just depends....

My husband sells stuff on there sometimes and I bought a new couch.... but I have no idea how to find out about freelance jobs. Isn't there a link on there to search for that?

The only thing I can suggest is to go to the jpb section and look....and send a lot of emails to people. I know I am not much help..lol..but its a start.

craigslist is good for finding items you need, but for Job mostly they are scams.

when you log into craigslist there different sections the first one on the left is "community" under that there are the listings for musicians, artists, communtinity events, rants and raves, events, pets, ect.. YOu should find what your looking for under that section.

I cant say that I feel the jobs are mostly scams. My husband last year picked up a life changing job from posting his resume on Craigslist.
he went from making under 20g a year to making 35g per year. We definatly cant complain about that..

so NOT ALL JOBS THERE ARE SCAMS!!!
