This movie wasn't exactly what I thought it was going to be. Here's the storyline: Adam Sandler is a maintenance man at a five star resort that was built on the grounds of his father's hotel. He dreams of one day running the resort (as he was promised.) He takes over care of his niece and nephew for a week, when he realizes that their bedtime stories actually come true in real life.
I thought that this movie was going to be more fantasy. I thought that you were going to see Adam Sandler become a knight or have these crazy adventures, but that's not really what this story is about. It's about how to make your hopes and dreams for life into reality.
As far as this being a kid's movie, it wasn't too bad. There was one beach scene where there were an awful lot of women in bikinis. There was also some violence, but most of it was in the bedtime stories that Adam Sandler told. They would picture the story as he was telling it, and there would be some violence. I don't think it was anything that a kid couldn't handle. The profanity in this was mild as well.
All in all, it was a fun movie. It had a good ending, but I think you could just as easily wait for it to come to video than see it in the theater.
